decided to get back to this, and spent about 15 minutes sanding down the border.
Why did I choose this design? it firstly does not block the province name, or any of the lettering. It also came off the Escape, so why not.
A coat of primer should cover the minor cracks (filled with Krazy glue). There is a bit of fading where the lettering used to be, but there is a bit of relief left at the "C", but it's barely noticeable, it should be gone after primer.
Should I cut these tabs off, or keep them on? one of them caused the border to crack when pulling the Escape's old plate out.
