Flavien Vidal's post yesterday about the kei cars had me looking up what it would cost to import one (it's one of the better ways to spend a weekend). Anyway, found all these cute little mini supercars while browsing

First thing that came to mind was the Mitjet series.

A series of races run in little race cars, similar in size to Legends cars, that look like shrunken down versions of the cars they're made to look like.

Skodas, Vipers, SLS AMGs, Renaults, BMWs, Porsches, Kias, Aston Martins, and many others.

That's an Autozam AZ-1. It actually is that small.

It must have a bodykit.

I'd love for one of these to have some sort of 500-700HP engine, like a 4-cylinder out of an M1, a Turbo S2000 motor, or some head-in-block custom build, just to piss off supercar drivers when this little kei car is faster .

because its not really modified in anyway to look specifically like a Mclaren, it just the almost stock car .

Oh I'm in Canada so it's a 15 year import law but the little cars are all exuberantly priced for some reason. Unless I was less than 5 feet tall and needed a tiny car, I wouldn't pay six grand for a 600cc honda beat. Or 15 grand for a midget!
