... So I'm driving out to the autocross site. I've only got another hour and a half to go, then I plan on taking a nap until course setup time.

You are way too amped for an autocross unless it is one of your first. Calm, collected nerves are what get class wins. And I have a feeling your car is both the dirtiest and cleanest car with saitama plates in Kansas by default.

Ah, well good luck, but hopefully you planned to do awful lol. Set some goals for your first few autoX and make it things like "Avoid all the cones" or "Improve by two seconds from my first "serious" run"
