So, we noticed that the fridge was a quart low, so my wife went to the store and picked up some dairy fluid.

It must've been funny, though, since the receipt replied with a 'lol'.

Ye', it's short for 'LOL HALF & HALF-WHO ARE YOU KIDDING-YOU KNOW YOU WANT THE FULL STUFF', but that is too long to put on the receipt.

That's half & half (coffee creamer) — regular milk is more like $3 or $4/gallon. (US Gallon, which is like 3.8 Litres.) I'm not sure exactly, 'cause I don't drink the stuff (lactose intolerant). Thankfully, a little cream in my coffee doesn't bother me though lol.
