Great turnout for this city! It doesn't quite match up to what some of you post, but it was a nice mix of cars, and certainly a great change of pace from our Friday night shows centered on american muscle
First, the oppo group. I think you've seen these all before, but there's midengineer's slow MR-2, the fastest wichita oppo-cross car my Chevy Sonic, and Jay Lauer's still for sale S2000.
A few groups came in together, I think we will strive to do that next time.
Anyways, on to the other stuff. I didn't take too many pictures because potato and I'm a firm believer in 'experience it through your eyes not through your phone's camera'
The local BMW dealer brought a new M4. I've never been a huge BMW fan but I thought it looked decent. The Gallardo sounds diabolical, and...
...GATED MANUEL! *swoons*
Both Cobra's were attention grabbing. I need to take some videos next time. The location is right off the freeway: attendees arriving from the north have to cross under an overpass, which lends itself to some great noise. The newer Cobra had a crazy loud supercharger whine, it was glorious.
Closer picture of the Gallardo. If I'm brutally honest, the Gallardo has become rather...mundane. It's a Lambo, so it's still bonkers, but it looks a bit dated IMO. I'd rather have an R8. Still really cool to see, especially in Doo-Dah where the most exotic car you'll typically see is a C5 Corvette.
Most supercars tend to look much smaller in person than one would expect. The GTR is not one of those supercars. It's about as big as I'd expect
The interior of the GTR reminds of the Lexus LFA for some reason. Seems like a decent place to be
The engine is well packaged, but I don't think it sounds all that great :/ As much as I love turbos, give me a V8 or V10 over this any day. The C6 Grand Sport sounded much more impressive IMO
Dat ass tho
From raw performance to ultimate luxury, a Rolls Royce Corniche was certainly a rare sight
The interior feels very aviation inspired to me.
Spirit of Ecstasy, amirite?
I came when this arrived. Lotus Evora...hnnnnnnnnggggghhhh
10/10 would buy instead of 911
Winner of most adorable car show participation ever goes to this family team. The daughter drove the little Corvette go-kart into show parking ahead of her father's red C4
There was also one of these
And a very clean one of these
I leave you with dat ass. Probably one of the only BMW's I'd actually own
All in all a great show. I'm sure the other members have some pictures and there should be some pictures/videos on the facebook page at some point that I'll try to share here if people are interested.
Looking forward to the next one!

I feel like the interior of that Gallardo is kind of a letdown. That Rolls, on the other hand...

The guy with the yellow cobra is an old school SCCA road race guy. I used to get drinks with him every week and I had no idea that was his car until I went over to his house one day for a barbecue.

100% agree with your statement on the Gallardo.
Man, I need to get my car looking presentable and get up to one of these. But yes, we should definitely all arrive at once.

Man, you're making me wish I weren't driving in, in the morning, as opposed to going last night and spending the weekend...
