And he just bought this 1977 Camaro for $1,900 to drop it into. The paint is staying crappy and it's just going to be an awesome sleeper. I can't wait!

That right there is 100% awesomeness. Always wanted to see someone do this. I'll be looking forward to what it turns out like!

That is so fucking badass. What's the engine build look like, and what did he do to get a (presumably) 3.75" stroke to run reliably at 7500 rpm without spending lots of money?

I have an 11 year old pug, and she's mostly deaf (unless it's cheese wrappers) and she's an awesome sleeper too. I don't think she can turn 7,500 rpm anymore though.

He spent a shit ton of money. He probably spent over 10-12 thousand on that engine.

Is he gonna leave the paint the same for the added surprise factor?

I can also tell you that it has a comp roller cam, ARP aluminum heads and burly compression. This thing barely idles at 1,000 rpm. Dat lope!

Paint is staying crappy. Suspension is getting built to handle the power and some subframe connectors for rigidity. Gonna be a monster

Yep. That would do it. Absolutely awesome.

The best part is that if something breaks on the camaro, he could just pull the engine, claim the insurance, and dump it into the next beater sleeper.

inb4 pushrods can't rev high. Bullshit. This is the 21st century. We have the technology.

And oh yeah, that is badass.

The plan is black steelies in front and 295 width hoosier slicks in the back.

In that case you need some base-model wheel covers. Maybe just 3 of them.
