A kid at my school wanted to race me with one of these - his is a slushbox. It wasn't slow, but it certainly wasn't quick, either.

These seem to have been forgotten. Should we care?

Think of it more of a sport package for the regular V6 Altima, rather than different enough to really be a model unto itself.

A maxima is both a better car and a faster car. The Altima SE-R is just basically a Maxima without all of the comfy bits.
