That post about the xB reminded me of my own sort of road rage experience last night: I'm on my way to a late-night car meet when I pull up next to a young girl in a Saturn. She's obviously no older than 20, and I can only tell that because her face is completely illuminated by her phone. I just glare at her until the light turns green, and she takes off without even looking up. I let her in front of me for my own safety, and I flash my brights a couple times for hers. Now, I can't tell if she's still on her phone or not, but she just happens to be going the same direction as me for fifteen miles, slower than I would like, but I'm still not passing her because I don't want to be hit. So, from her point of view, this guy who flashed his brights at her is now following her around at night. Eventually I get to the meet, and as I'm turning, she flips me off. A lot of police came and went, and I can't help but wonder if one of them was looking for me. I'd say I feel bad for the girl, but texting while driving is unforgivable so fuck her.

Most people will believe they are doing nothing wrong, and "everyone else" is just being an asshole, or a scary stalker road raging killer rapist.
Judging people by what they are doing at the time of their infraction leads me to believe she might fall into this category.

The other day, I was driving home from the park and ride. I hit the four-way stop just blocks from the house. I stopped, looked, started going. Just as I start letting out the clutch, some asshat in a clapped-out Acura idles through the four-way, no stop, headed right for me. I stop because this asshat was just asshatting along. He looks at me, honks his horn and flips me off.
Asshat.

things like this happen to Me all the time, and I have to remind myself that if my fenders (aluminum) get damaged, then my baby will be totaled. I always wonder I they are assholes or just ignorant

Don't you just fucking hate those people that get angry at you for doing nothing wrong?
I could almost deal with someone being an asshole and just able to bask in their own assholishness. But it's the fuckers who think you were in the wrong that really piss me off.
Just last week I was at a 4-way intersection. The road I'm on has two lanes, a right-turn only lane, and a lane for turning left and going straight. So I'm going straight and I see this shit head in a Yaris just speeding down the right lane - too fast to take a turn at the rate he was going.
A second later when he's out of view of my passenger side mirror, I hear someone blasting their horn. I look in my rear-view mirror and he's apparently in my lane, flipping me off and slamming his fist on his horn. Like I was some asshole who wasn't following the rules of the road and I cut him off somehow.

Yeah, it's an official meet sponsored by the businesses who own the parking lot, so the police were made aware and came to check up on everything a few times. Still, you never know. There could have been a report about a stalker in a "blue car" which would have warranted a half-assed search since they were already there.
