I don't know if you all knew this and I can't guarantee it's the same in your state. In Ohio if "STOP" is painted on the ground with no stop sign

Kinja'd!!!

like so, then that is not a legal stop. The reasoning? If it's raining, or snowing, or any other obstruction how are you supposed to know it's a stop?

In Virginia I'm pretty sure it's a legal stop because Virginia. You're always wrong when you drive.

In Georgia, a white line like that is a stop, with or without a sign or the word. We only get snow like once every two or three years, though, generally for a total of a week at most.

Whenever I see these I look around to be cautious because some people might be expecting you to stop. And then I tear right through.
