Yeah, the M3's do look better than the M4's, those hips don't lie, but the sound does.

Dat rear end. Dat wheels. I prefer the M4 because 2 doors, but I still love the M3's looks.
The sound will never compare to an E9x M3 or M3 CSL though.

I personally see the F8x generation as a great stepping stone to the next gen. It's a fantastic machine and the technology in it can only make the next one better.
If rumors are true for some kind of V10 again for the M5/6 then hopefully we can get another fire-breathing V8 for the next M3/4. By that point hybrid systems found in the i8, 918 Spyder, McLaren P1, etc. will start trickling down into more mainstream cars. THAT I believe will be the next auto revolution.
