Unless you can direct me to the exact direction of a brand new, OEM distributor for my Fiat Tipo Sedicivalvole. I need one, have needed one for a while now actually, but I kept postponing it because, seriously, fuck brazilian auto parts. Now I can't seem to find the right model, so I thought you guys might be able to help... Here's what I know so far:
Distributor in italian is spinterogeno
The parts number on the cap of my distributor is 713664
Looking for Fiat Tipo Spinterogeno on the Italian eBay mostly leads me to two models: DT402EX and DT453C, neither one has the Sedicivalvole in its compatibility list, but they look the same as mine
Other cars that in theory use the same part include the Fiat Coupé and any late 80's to early 90's Lancias equipped with the Twin Cam four.
So... Halp? Here's a cutaway of the quintessential Italian car for your troubles

How do you feel about Indycar returning to Brasil?

It's 1995, but they should be all the same from 1990 to 1995, save for a facelift in 1993.

Does it have to be new? You'd probably find one from a scrappy somewhere here.

Not really, but finding any parts for the Sedicivalvole in brazilian scrapyards is all but impossible. Assuming it's the same part from the 1.6 engined version, then it could be done, but as far as I know, the parts are different.

2.0 l, there was a short lived 1.8 l Twin Cam version which may or may not have used the same part, in this case, the DT453C.

Try one or two of these, perhaps:
Use a throwaway email address, though, because they'll spam you forever after. But your request gets sent out to hundreds/thousands of scrapyards, and if they have it, they'll mail/text you a price.
If you need it sent on from the UK, I'm sure some of the UK opponauts can helponce you've found something.

now, are you looking for the whole distributor or just the cap?

I need both the cap and the rotor, since mine are so worn out my car sometimes chokes when turning to the left. I've found both parts separately on eBay, but I'd like to get an original set from Magneti Marelli, if possible, as I've had only bad experiences with aftermarket parts... Then again, they were Brazilian aftermarket parts...

I've been digging in here, but I just don't think I'm knowledgable enough about your car to be helpfui, I don't even know what it should look like.

That's looking pretty good, might give it a try, maybe even put up queries for other body and finishing parts I'd like to replace.

It's ok, most I could do so far was find three variants of the part and none of them specify if they're compatible to the Sedicivalvole or just 1.6 Tipos...

I found some 2.0L engines under Alfa. I just don't know if the caps would match.

I have a fiat with a 1800cc twin cam engine. I recently picked up a cap and rotor from Fiat plus here in California I get most of my parts from one of four sources: Fiat Plus http://www.fiatplus.com/ , International auto parts http://www.international-auto.com/ , Autorcambi http://www.autoricambi.us/ , or Midwest Bayless http://www.midwest-bayless.com/storefrontprof… one of hem should have what you're looking for.

I love racing, I live in São Paulo and didn't notice the lack of Indy this year. That's a general perspective, actually. It used to be an awesome event, but turned into something weird that couldn't please anyone except the people who got free tickets because they're related to a sponsor.

If I remember correctly, 2.0l Alfas from that era had the Twin Spark head, so that's twice as many spark plugs...

I'd guess there's something similar in Italy, too, but I don't know what it's called. My Italian only goes about this far:
