All you need, is to be hit in a mall parking exit by a very gentle person with no problems to declare his fault, so that you two can fill and sign the " constatazione amichevole " (friendly ascertainment) form for the Insurances, and then and in the same evening you can give your copy to your Insurance office. Next, you must go to your friendly body shop (consented upon your own Insurance), let him take the pictures of the horrible scratch on your front left bumper and open the file on the net. Later, you go home and clean the bumper with alcohol and wax, to remove all the paint from the other car. BTW, you need to be so lucky that you were only hit on the plastic and not on the metal. Eventually you get a phone call from your Insurance, telling you that the payment for your damage was authorized, and you please come to their office to give them your bank account coordinates, so that the money can be transferred into your account. Finally, you thank your friendly body shop and offer to pay for their time, which they refuse because "our goal is to keep our customers happy, so that they will come to us when they really need it!" Life can be good, sometimes. Of course my beloved chariot has now a little scratch (white spot near the fender's edge) but I have some too, so everything is swell and good.

wife got a gentle bump from behind, put a crease in my bumper. person agreed to pay outside of insurance, got upset at the three quotes I provided, so I took it through the insurance company. They had to pay a $500 deductible instead of the $250 I was being quoted. Their insurance company paid me closer to $350.
I heated the bumper and the crease disappeared.

Want to do it without damaging your car?
1) Park your car in a car park and walk around.
2) Look for a vehicle getting ready to reverse and stand slightly askew to it but behind it.
3) As it begins to revers, punch or bang the back of the car
4) Yell and grab your knee
5) Ask for some money to make it go away.
I in no way condone committing fraud or have not done this dozens of times to get candy as a child.

classy move, offering to pay the body shop for their time anyway.
