I'm obsessed with cars, but our family currently has nae the room nor the money for a third car for me to wrench on, so I've gone through a succession of Things-That-Aren't-Cars. Of late, I've been looking at ATV/golf carts- we've got enough space under our deck for storage, anyways, and I'd love the hilarity of turning a golf cart into a miniature rally car. Here are some possibilities I came up with- could somebody that knows about go-carts and other two-stroke paraphenilia tell me if it's lemon or sublime?

Yes, it's only a frame- since I;m not at all familiar with two-strokes, I might swap in a 1.0 EcoBoost or electric motor. This- I think- saves the trouble.

Oo, this one has a motor in. Rusty as my high-school Spanish, but that just gives it charachter. Really not sure about the squarish steering wheel, though...

Needs system flushed AND a new chain and clutch. Not so sure about this one, but I am looking for something to tinker on.

This one only needs a "band brake"- more promising. Downside is only 6hp- not really enough for my ass-out driving style.

off topic and horrid (and definitely not "vintage" but tempting for reasons beyond human understanding

Price can't be right.
Can't be.

Hey, this one runs! Only 3.5 horsepower, though... I'd have my work cut out for me.

Now this is what I'm talking about. No work that needs to be done (although all that nerf-barring makes me ask questions about ceter-of-gravity), 5 horses, and it runs.

Good god, it's a milk float!

Okay, this one fits all my requirements. No cage means I can go nuts with the bodywork, runs, etc.- price is a little high for what I've been seeing but very, very good.
Advice on what to avoid and what to get greatly appreciated.
