THIS is how you assemble a supergroup and do a Beatles song. Clapton, Lennon, Mitch Mitchell on drums (Hendrix Experience drummer) and Keith Richards on bass. Yer Blues. Nasty

Poor Mitch....died nearly broke, and saw very little of the residuals from the Jimi Hendrix Experience days.

Noel didn't get much better and drank himself to death. Meanwhile the Hendrix estate just keeps pumping the same crap out and printing money.

A new album every few years is apparently good for the estate. The master reels have to be getting pretty worn with all the remasters, though.

Let's be honest....Noel didn't really do that much. Hendrix actually played bass on a number of the recordings himself.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying Noel got what he deserved...just that the signature sounds were Jimi and Mitch. Noel was just kinda there.

oh absolutely, but he still did all the tour work with the Experience and was credited on alot of songs, should have been good for something. Hell even Hendrix hit the skins a few times though

No arguments there.

In my playing days, Mitch was a huge influence. I spent a lot of afternoons behind the drums with headphones on trying to learn some of those songs.
