I'm seriously afraid so. Portuguese, English and German sites show exactly none for sale, and only a few regular R26s. Has any of the Euro Oppos ever seen one for sale? And IRL? I saw an R26 once but it had French plates.

I saw four .R models at Brands Hatch. So maybe track day experience companies are buying them all up.

None for sale in Germany? Check this one ? Or this one in France. Or this one in The Netherlands.
They're rare. But exist.

The latter two are non-R R26s. That R26.R in Jünkerath though...€30K :/

Ah yeah... It was just a quick search, I'm sure leboncoin has more ( YES! And once again: YES! ). And that Dutch dealer is a (I thought the only one in NL) Renault Sport dealer (not all dealers are allowed to sell these), those are the places you'll have to look for.

9 are currently for sale on Leboncoin.fr, the cheapest is 20k€, the most expensive one is 36k€. Search for "R26R" and "R26 R".
I know it's a rare car, but for the same price, or even cheaper you could get a newer Mégane RS with the Cup Chassis. Keep in mind that, in France, a brand new RS265 costs 32k€.

"not all dealers are allowed to sell these"
Explains a lot.

Yes, and 225s are getting cheaper these days. But the R26.R is very special in its own right.

The fact it was a limited run of 450 cars, from which 230 (!!!) were RHD, doesn't help either (if you live in a LHD-country).
I've only ever seen a few at the Nordschleife.

And 126 of them were for the French market IIRC.
