After !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! I finally put on some new tires on my 14" x 5-1/2" Miata Enkei wheels...

!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!

These are nothing fancy just some cheap tires from walmart. These are 175/65R14 Nexen Weathermax $275.88 installed. I totally blew the budget in this project with these new tires and wheels($375.88 for wheels and rubber) I was not planning on putting this much money on this car I just wanted to fix it up and use it as a daily commuter.

Kinja'd!!!

After finding out the hard way that my tire wrench was 19mm when my lugs are in fact 21mm I decided to get the right wrench($16.49) just incase I don't always have my tool kit in the trunk.

Kinja'd!!!

I made sure to put the 19mm wrench where it belonged.

Kinja'd!!!

Here she is with the wheels finally on for the last time.

Kinja'd!!!

My wife decided she wanted to drive the car for the first time today. I was all for it, she deserves to have a little fun after saving my ass on sunday. She's a great helper.

Kinja'd!!!

She enjoyed it more than she expected. I told her "never judge an old Mazda by how in looks. remember the zoom zoom commercials? well what they mean by that is all true!"

Cool car! I appreciate when others take the time to write articles. I get tired of seeing the, "look I found a picture." posts lol.

I like the wheels on it! Call me crazy, but I think they look better here than on a Miata.

I agree 100%! On the Miata they look really tiny but on here they look like they are supposed to be there. It's definitely better than the stock 13's.

Hey, it may hurt to put money on the table for some tires but at least that's something you won't have to worry about for a loooong time. Loving the updates btw, this is the kind of thing that interests me

Thanks I much appreciate the interest. I wish more people did this sort of thing. The only other one I remember was the guy with the AMC Eagle and that's where I got the idea to keep a detailed journal of the project.

Keep your eyes peeled there is much more to come as I'm not done with this thing yet.
