Is car ownership in Hong Kong attainable for the average joe (like an electrician or plumber)? How does that work? Can you drive to china from HK?

Does Hong Kong have internet censorship like the rest of China?

Cool! I know two people that live in Hong Kong but they are both English.

I'd be inclined to say no. Living costs here are pretty expensive since the property market has been rapidly on the rise. This means that the average person would live in a relatively small apartment. Most buildings with small apartments lack a carpark and if there is one, prices for renting one can be pretty expensive. Cars are also expensive too - of course, you could get much cheaper deals on the second-hand market, but since Hong Kong's public transport is so good, repairmen tend to use that instead of driving. I tend to see lots of electrical repairmen drag their trolleys around on the subway and public buses, instead of using a van to carry what they need. If a big job is required, then you'd get a group of repairmen and pile into a van together, with the van usually being a company vehicle. In all honesty, driving is only really necessary if you are working up north of Hong Kong outside of the city area, although of course, many people buy cars in Hong Kong to reaffirm their affluence. Car prices are high, but resale values are also hold their own very well - an F10 520i still costs a pretty penny to buy second hand.

As for the costs of licensing and registration, there's some useful info here .

And as for driving to China from HK, yes, it is possible, provided you have a China numberplate and registration as well. If you come to HK, you tend to see cars with two different 'plates, one for China and one for HK.

Very awesome. I've been to two concerts already and had the time of my life.

And Hyuna? Well yes, she is hot and all, but I find her new song Red completely underwhelming. Her usual personality is really bubbly and cheerful, so I don't understand why she must continue with the overly sexual concepts. And I'm also concerned for the plastic surgery she's gotten over the past few years - I'm begrudgingly admitting that she got it, but she definitely looks different compared to her Change days.
