I no longer trust my hard drives. Help me choose a cloud solution for data backups.
Box, DropBox, SkyDrive, google drive, icloud, and a million other options exist, who uses what, and why do you like it? My primary concern is pictures and videos. Docs are secondary. Sharing is low on the list, but automatic sync is a top priority.
What are the best choices out there?

My photos/videos from my phone auto backup to Google +. Benefit is mainly that it's unlimited storage for photos/videos, functions automatically and if I screw up my settings and everyone can see my photos....welll....there's only 17 people using Google + in the world, so I should be ok. lol

Well that depends, are you looking for simple cloud folders, or true off-site backup? Because those can be different.
CrashPlan or BackBlaze for example are designed to be dedicated off-site backup solutions, but they don't really compete with DropBox, OneDrive (this is what SkyDrive is now, by the way), GDrive, etc.
Each service is different.

I'm using Google+ and I enjoy the auto backup from phone. All my stuff defaults to private and I have to choose who to share with.

Pictures and video? Good luck. I hope your upload speed is massive.
Picasa though. If the world is in such shambles that Google manages to lose my data, I think there are more important things to worry about.
They aren't great, but I trust them more than any other company.

In all seriousness, CrashPlan. You're looking for complete and automatic backups, CrashPlan has that sector on lockdown. You can do little bits and pieces with all of the other options you mentioned, but CrashPlan will capture everything on a schedule.
AND they're 20% off right now.
