This is not an awesome car if you want to go fast. If you want to crack up with the biggest grin and insane laughter from the tons of body roll though this is the car for you. I say that in pure love of these b-bodies.

Don't forget carbureted. But seriously when people talk about cars that are controllable at the limit, and talk about how effortlessly they can pilot the cars, G-body's are not what they are talking about.

So light in the ass they don't work in the snow, rain, dirt, or when they lose traction. They just make lots of smoke and look cool.

I honestly just listed a bunch of jalop/oppo "God mobiles". Nearly all of these suggestions will be clapped out or rust buckets. Other people have given some good ideas, though.

I used to own a 740 Turbo Wagon I paid $475 for. I currently drive an NA8 Miata I paid $2k for. I live in Ohio, we have third gen F-Bodies and Fox body Stangs for days at any price. Saab 9000 shouldn't be too dificult. The problem with the Integra and the E30 who have a reputation for terrible owners who trash them and overvalue junk.

A stock LT1 makes less power than modern V6's and the car weighs a couple tons. I'm not saying it's slow and I'm not saying it's not fun. I'm just saying the fun is in the experience. I test drove one and did a donut in a gravel parking lot and cracked up trying to sit up straight.

Well except these early carb 3.8 turbo motors actually had negative horesepower. For the legendary reputation the Buick Grand National has, until they intercooled them in 86 they weren't fast, even for the 80's

Hahaha, i was looking at a lot of those 3rd gen camaro's (murderermobile). I all ways wanted to turn one in to a track car, plus they look like murder... i mean COOL. P.S. people will let you pass because people/racecar drivers will see you in their rear view mirrors thinking "AH FUCK AH FUCK AH FUCK I GOT TO PULL OVER!" They pull over to get out of their car and cry out "THANK YOU GOD FOR LETTING ME LIVE!"
