Jake did his last night, so I think I'll do mine tonight! Again the AMA is for ask me anything.

Now this is just some basic stuff about me here. I'm 19, drive a Sable and I work at Stop & Shop in the produce department. I was a dishwasher at a crapper barrel (I HATED that job). I'm also in college as an Auto Tech major at NVCC and am in my 3rd semester of it and still love it! And as many of you forget my dad's owns a 1978 Trans Am WS6, W72 with a tremec 5 speed and 3.42 rear gears for GREAT burnouts. I'm also one of the northeast chapter mods on TCCA (Taurus Car Club of America), a member of TSOC (Taurus and Sable Owners Club).

I live in Milford, CT. I'm always getting into shenanigans with the Sable.

Like Jayhawk Jake's thing, I'm really bored and have nothing better to do right now...

When I shopped for my MGM, I was specifically looking for 2006-2010s. Literally one out of 80 listed had a sunroof, and it was in bad shape otherwise, so I am sunroof-less. I tried.

IMO, the gen 2 SHO is the best, it has an aftermarket and a huge amount of parts to choose from for modding.

I would say the 4th gen Taurus is best since that's what I DD!!

(Short version= first car was a silver 01 sable caught the Taurus/Sable bug from that started modding that one crashed it, got my black 02 Sable and somehow got a job so I could afford to mod it more than I did the 01, took the 02 to ford nationals and now I'm working on a CAI, LED conversion, and need to get a muffler welded in)

LEDs conversion= park lights to switchbacks, tail-lights are done, reverse lights need to be done, and I have dome/trunk light bulbs coming from china (last time I'll order from there) I'm gonna wait for the technology to get better for the headlight bulbs.

Yeah, but this is a completely stock one. You can get yourself a 2.4 long block with a phatass turbo and with the right internals and a built trans (all for about as much as the Sable is worth, I might add), you can easily put down 400+HP, and shit on so many other cars. Leave it with the SXT front end, and no one would suspect a thing.

I'm in Hamden and get my car serviced in Milford and sometimes go to Hooters in Milford. I'll keep my eyes out for a Sable. I've seen the Taurus a few years back at the car show at UCONN.

Side marker lights, tail lights, turn signals, license plate lights, and some misc interior lights.

I could buy that and for $10 convert my whole car external lighting to LEDs :D

Yeah, there's a fair amount of the damn things. There are a few in the interior as well but those have already been replaced with red bulbs.
