So, they've announced a bunch of information for Horizon 2, including the VIP Pack, the free Launch Bonus Pack, the basic details on the Car Pass, the bonus car you get with the Car Pass, and the free gift car you get for playing the demo, which is available now.

First, the Launch Bonus Pack includes 8 free cars:

Hey, it's better than my situation!

I can't even use my Xbox 360 because my hard drive decided to corrupt my profile on it.

All of my game saves said Corrupted Profile, and after deleting the profile (which took a long time to do, because the whole thing slowed my console down big time), they all say Unknown Profile.

Not sure if that means the saves can be saved with a redownload of my profile or not, but I can't really find out until I get a new hard drive.

And on top of that, I can't afford an Xbox One and I know my Gold ran out by now.

A few weeks ago. He has his brother's 360 now but all of his saves (years worth) are all gone.

And yeah, all of your GTA Online stuff is safe. So I guess that's something positive.

Geez, that's awful. At least they made it out alive, that's the important thing.

As painful as it can be, I always say people over possessions. You can replace (at least most) of your possessions, you can't replace people.

Glad that's the case with GTA Online. Maybe my saves will be salvageable, since they read 'Unknown Profile' instead of something like 'Corrupted Save File'.

Hopefully redownloading my profile will save everything, but even if it does, I still wanna replace the hard drive and transfer everything to the new one.

Unfortunately, my transfer cable doesn't go from Slim hard drive to Slim console. Only Original hard drive to any Xbox 360 console, so I might need a new one, or at least a two ended USB cable, which I don't have at the moment.

Given that you seem to be the only one opposed to this business model it's likely to continue.

Why don't just buy it, so you have the entire game? I see the regular one more as a stripped version for those who don't really care that much about all the cars as long as Porsche, Raptor and Lambo are included.

I doubt I am the only person who thinks this business model sucks. Everyone else who does is just resigned to apathy about changing it instead of voicing their displeasure by choosing not to buy into it.

I bought into this idea with FM4. I pre-ordered the Collector's Edition to get a specific car, bought the season pass, and the Porsche pack. I never once felt better or more special than anyone else playing the game. I as actually glad they released the bonus cars later on so other people could drive and enjoy them too.

If people feel they need to make themselves 'special' by paying more for a stupid badge online, that's fine, but I HATE that T10/studios think that means people want exclusive cars/guns/important game items.

The bonuses should be for playing the game and limit content to a select few who are deluded into paying double for the same game. Give the VIPs liveries or game currency, let everyone have access to all the cars.

As an OG Forza guy I have to say the demo really doesn't seem much more than a polished horizon one without the fucked up regular lobbies etc..
