Also, I always laugh when I see a license plate frame with the name of the car it's on, especially when the name is already written out on the back of the car.

It's not even the model specification, though. If it were a car with- for example- a Chevrolet plate/badge on the back and nothing else, I would totally accept a plate frame that said Nova. A Modern example would be a Honda S2000. If the car doesn't otherwise spell out the name of the model on the back, then fine by me if the owner wants to clarify "This is not a Miata."

But I'm talking about the frames that say C300 on the back of the Benz that already has a C300 badge. The cheaper/more common the car, the more ridiculous it is. The Corolla owner must be SUPER proud of his car to want it to say Corolla twice on the back of the car, in case someone mistook it for a Civic or loaf of stale bread.
