It's semi-miserable out today so I'm really trying hard to stay awake.

So I had forgotten just how small Blazers are. A 4-door is barely up to my shoulder in terms of height. It's really tiny, like smaller than my mom's Vue tiny.

Kinja'd!!!

And not everything inside them is hard plastics. The dash actually has some squish to it as do the doors and arm rests. So much for everything being made out of hard plastic.

My want level increases every time I'm around them.

There was always the option of leather.

And that velour stuff is comfy IMO.

I used to have one of these (a 2001 LT). The V6 engine is rock solid. Can't say the same for anything attached to said engine. 4WD worked great, at least on snowy roads.

Heated leather seats were a beautiful, beautiful thing.

I've thought about getting another one... then again, gas prices have gone up since I got rid of mine.

I'm familiar with the 4.3's excellence, I've got the same engine in my Safari.

Which means I'm also familiar with the 4-speed auto's horribleness.

Yeah, my tranny went out at some point. Also, the water pump disintegrated.

But I'll be damned if I didn't change the oil once, and a piece of a ring came out with the dirty stuff. Didn't matter, the still thing ran great. It wasn't until the front wheel bearings gave up that I finally decided to move on.

Now I wish I'd just fixed the bearings.

Haven't had any water pump problems yet. Knock on wood.

The oil hasn't been changed in about 20,000 miles in my Safari. Hell, my dad had a friend who ran his old S10 without oil and it still ran like a champ.
