"You can tell a Finn but you can't tell him much" (youcantellafinn)

I am planning a drive for this afternoon and need to be in a specific location at a specific time. I am fully capable of doing the math to figure out when I need to leave, but is there an option on Google Maps or anywhere else that you can tell it when you want to arrive somewhere and it will tell you when you need to leave?
As thanks for your help, have a picture of the reason for my little road trip. I get to tour the Enstrom Helicopter plant this evening. I suspect pictures will not be allowed on the plant floor, so don't plan on seeing a photo dump of the trip.

If you have an Android device, just create an event in the Calendar and include the address in the event. Google Now will alert you like 20 minutes before you need to leave to get there on time.

I live on the dark side. Rumor has it Apple is adding that feature to iOS soon. They will call it revolutionary and Applephiles will swoon.

You can get an estimated travel time via Google Maps, but I personally use Waze, and get an estimate when I wake up or the night before, then just set and alarm.

I just use the Google Maps estimate and do some hardcore calculus to figure out when I should leave.
You can usually trim a few minutes off that, though, if there's no traffic and/or you drive at least five over.

My problem is dealing with a time warp singularity. I might have to use a Laplace transform for that.

The Google maps time estimate is pretty close. I used to drive this trip pretty regularly. I'm just struggling with the math this morning because I have to deal with a time warp. Well, I'm not really struggling with the math, I'm just not confident even though I know I have it right. Sometimes I get stuck and keep overthinking simple things.
