That I know absolutely nothing about.
I got the assignment last week. It is due Thursday. At first, I reacted the same way I react to any and all assignments:
The topic is 'media coverage during the Vietnam War' which sounds like a very interesting topic. I am supposed to dissect potential media bias and argue for or against the point that the unregulated nature of the press corpse during Vietnam lead to a distinctly anti-U.S. government slant. Again, this sounds vastly interesting, though it would be more interesting if I could intelligently comment on the subject. Today, I learned that page one is due tomorrow, and considering the amount I have researched this topic, my level of concern can only be described as:

Last semester I wrote over 60 pages for my creative writing seminar. Two stories, 25+ pages each, and some smaller stuff. Everything was put off until at least two days before, at which point my I would get drunk with my friend (who was also in the class) and just write while watching movies or listening to music or something. The next day was spent deciphering my drunken typing, but, hey, I got an A+ in the class.

I've been meaning to take a creative writing class at some point, but just haven't gotten around to it yet.
It sounds more fun than research based stuff, although that can be interesting.
