I like seeing shitty cars in pristine condition.

The only reason Cavaliers are worth preserving are as a warning.

At least it's pre-recall.

I wouldn't pay more than $2500 for it. And I would drive it until it fell apart.

When this baby hits 88 miles an hour, you're gonna see some serious shit fall off.

" IT HAS THE BULLET PROOF 2.2L 4 CYLINDER ENGINE WITH A 3 SPEED AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION."

The seller is a master of spinning yarns and Cap Lock. Bullet proof and the Tech 4 don't normally go hand in hand.

Wow. The "crappy used car" clock on this car is going to start 20 years late. 20 years from now it's gonna be all crappy and fucked up and someone's going to say "damn, I haven't seen a busted ass Cavalier like that in a long time. I haven't seen one in that good a condition in at least 20 years"

Time capsule? How about no.

In all seriousness, though, I love seeing awful cars like this in mint condition. I don't know why, but it makes me smile every time. Makes me think of when someone was actually proud of owning a Cavalier.

My first car was an '88 Cavalier with a 2.0 throttle body injection engine and a 3-speed auto.

Yeah, $2026 and "reserve not met" on that auction. Good luck with that, seller.

I'd rather drive a Gremlin with a blown headgasket than another Cavalier.
