The Taurus saga continues
Today I installed the new power steering pump into my 1998 Ford Taurus Se (I gave it the nickname Moby). After I did a quick bleed I took it for a test drive. The test drive went swell except for the fact that the power steering still did not seem operable, it was a bit better but not what I expected. So I did some googling and the internet said i needed to bleed it a bit more. Up int the air Moby went as the bleeding process started. One slow turn left and right, all good, two slow turn left and right all good, three slow turn left and right, pop *HISS*. Turns out that the rack and pinion needs to be replaced also. Im currently in that stage where I love/despise that car.
