I might be in line to inherit a 6th gen.

Switch this with fourth gen and you're all good.

Is it nice or a project car.

I have heard it is pretty nice.

It would be much easier if you went by my rule.
#1 Gen 1
#2 Gen 9
Let the remainder hit the scrap pile.

But...
![]() 09/15/2014 at 21:39 |

I might switch it with 2nd gen.

For me, in order from best to worst:
1. First Gen (Especially the '57)
2. Third
3. Fourth (Especially the '66)
4. Second
5. Eleventh (Fastest, best-handling stock T-Bird ever, IIRC)
6. Sixth
7. Fifth
8. Seventh
9. Tenth
10. Ninth
11. Eighth

Interesting, but it's still the cute girl's odd sister.

Well, at least we got the first and last.

Indeed.

That is an an epic candidate for a Coyote CJ swap.

1-4 in that order. Leave all the rest, they could/should have stopped after 4.

My friend owns a red hardtop 65 T-bird, and I agree with your opinion that it's the second best generation; nothing can top the first gen.
