After the !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! post I became really quiet on here and, honestly, I've missed you guys.
It's been a long and successful 2014 and I've still got a few months left to go, but while I'm here let me fill you in on a few things. First of all, I swapped a 2.3 Turbo engine from a 1987 T-Bird Turbo Coupe into my Mustang(Even though it wasn't done before Mustang Week and it went 3X over budget it's running like a champ now and was well worth it).
After actually making it, and spending 24 hours at Mustang Week I got to meet the crew from !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! and photograph the big car show for them.
After that meeting and a summer full of !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! for them I was offered a job as their new Graphic Designer and, after a bit of negotiation, I happily accepted. Which brings me to today.

I just got back home to North Carolina after spending the weekend in Waco, Tx learning the area and meeting my future co-workers. Once I graduate in December I will have a few weeks at home for the holidays and getting all of my stuff packed I will start in early January. It's going to be a huge step and I'm leaving a lot behind, but at the end of the day it's my dream job, working with my dream cars alongside a dream team of Mustang Enthusiasts.
So all of my hard work and dedication to the car life has payed off and stay tuned for more posts from me and I might be able to give Latemodel Restoration Supply a voice here on Oppositelock. That's if you guys are into seeing more Mustang posts! If you have any suggestions or ideas please let me know.
For your time, enjoy these shots of their SVE '79 Pacecar Tribute powered by the Ford Racing Aluminator 5.0!

That's awesome! I got to go down to LMR a few weeks ago because I got a deal of a lifetime on a clutch replacement (Needed the clutch as soon as possible, Dad and I drove down from Dallas to there). Everyone there was really nice and in the lobby they had a 2000 Cobra R and 79 pace car. Two amazing Mustangs that I have yet to see. We wanted to see the 79 tribute car so bad but they didn't have it out.
That's a really cool opportunity, good luck and I hope you enjoy Texas. Please keep us updated. And if you can get us discounts, that would be great! The stuff I want isn't cheap....

I could def work out some discounts for you, but for now talk to @Latemodelresto_Tyler on instagram and he can give you the hook up. When I get back to Texas we will definitely have to link up and talk cars!

Congrats on the new gig! Sounds incredible.
This is my dream job - http://www.petrolicious.com/petrolicious-i… - but life is such at the moment that it was a no-go for me when it came up. I'm still plotting out what my second career is going to look like...

That would be great! Waco is pretty far though. And wait, the tribute car was your "rental?"

About 2 hours right? Yeah, I'm 22 so the rental insurance was required, so they just let me whip that around all weekend! It was amazing.

I wish... Pretty settled at the moment with a good job, nice home, wife and three little kids. But I'll be keeping my skills up and waiting for the day I can trade out my "good job" for one I truly love and am passionate about.

Depends on traffic, but it was about 2 hours. That's crazy they let you take that out. How much power is it making? I'm jealous.

Awesome man! I'm still pretty stunned that I have my "Dream Job" before I've even graduated. It's still pretty unreal.

Very nice! I like what I'm seeing there, very clean. I've seen your concept designs on the 2015 on the 6th gen forums a while back; looking real good! :)

Don't forget this feeling you're experiencing right now. Even if the job gets rough at times, and you could make a little more pay doing something else, the value of having a job that is in line with your true passion is very hard to measure.

Thank you man, I will be sure to never take this opportunity for granted. They say that if you're getting paid to do something that you'd gladly do for free then you're in the right place. And, thankfully, that's exactly how I feel about this position!
