They are obviously both replicas but interesting none the less. The prices are as crazy as the condition of the projects. $30k for the F1 car and $40k for the 917/10 which has 2 flat 6 Subaru motors mated to make a flat 12.

This guy gets high marks for insanity. also, his skills with tubular chassis fabrication look good from 10-feet. flat-12 made out of two Subaru Tribeca 6s bolted together??? Extra Crazy Points awarded!

The "intake manifold" on the Subaru 917 is the jankiest thing I have ever seen. A person who does not understand how vacuum works is not one to be trusted with the building of a frame.
