I made some spaghetti amatriciana. Whole wheat spaghetti, diced tomatoes, bacon, and onions. It was pretty good, not earth-shattering but good.

I did similar, just substituting chicken for bacon. I included corn and yellow squash in the mix and put fresh basil and Parmesan on after. It was tasty.

I try to eat in a mostly healthy way, and I understand the deal with whole wheat flour over semolina. But spaghetti just tastes better with traditional noodles, and I can't bring myself to make the move to WG. Your recipe sounds good, though.

This was the first time I'd had whole wheat spaghetti and liked it. It went well with the sauce.
