In the spirit of Goodwood, I did a google search, and who would have guessed that I found this inaccurate (though might be accurate depending if you're counting auctions or private sale only) list of classic expensive cars, penned by... Patrick E. George.

Anyone want to confirm Patrick's middle initial for me? Is this him earning some scratch on the side, or is some sort of negative, or "dark" version of him that he will battle in the final iteration to quiet the chiming of the infinity bell? Gee, I don't know.

Then what is up with that list?!

I don't know specifics, but I'd say that it would make sense if it was written a long time ago (5-10 years) and wasn't including auctions (since there's a curious lack of $20mil+ 250 GTOs) or one-offs.

Still, the internet is apparently a smaller place than I realized. I'm sort of sad that it wasn't some doppleganger that you would have to do an armed Gymkhana against at the quickening to gain his power.

Yeah, it's probably pretty old. I started working for them in 2007 or so. Can't remember when that was written, but it hasn't been updated.

One of the photos says it was taken in 2007, so it's probably within the first year or so.

It makes me really wonder what life will be like in 20 years when all of our internet usage now becomes immortalized in stone. Will employers high companies to do background checks based on what comments you made about their products 15 years ago? Or will they cross-reference your user account with your resume? What happens when your kids dig up that one furry porn site you had an account on, 20 years later?
