I know right. I hate when cops are unnecessarily mean, and use foul language to kids. They are supposed to set a good example not be bullies. The third cop at asked them 15 freaking times if they have weed on the is what really ticked me off tho.

Same, the first cop should be suspended. She has no reason to harass them anymore than she already did. The second cop took it great though, he was joking around once he knew that it wasn't actually beer.

In my first hand experience some cops, maybe even most, are chill reasonable people that actually try to stop people who are breaking laws. But some are just power tripping a-holes that think their job is to flaunt what little authority they have. That is based on times when I actually was doing something illegal(usually trespassing/skateboarding on private property, or speeding), and times I very much wasn't, or at least not the thing I was being accused of.

Like the time I got pulled over for having a loud exhaust, and got asked whether there was any illegal substances in the car, and had a K9 unit called to sniff out the car. Just because there was three teenage guys with skateboards in a car with a rusted out flex pipe. Also even when I was doing something wrong I try to be polite as I can to cops. Even when they are being total douchwads.

But seriously. the female cop probably thought that by going through the whole writeup process and bringing in other cops, she would "scare" them into "not doing it again". Idiotic.

It also seems like a dumb series of "how many cops does it take to screw in a lightbulb?"

Yeah, I know people don't like this opinion, but I've never followed the whole "never cooperate with the police" stance many people have. If you're sincere and not a total dick, usually nothing happens. Although I too had to be saved from a repulsively aggressive female officer, when some scruffy veteran came on the scene and actually told her, "These guys didn't do anything." She was convinced we had done donuts on an elementary school campus playground in my buddies 2WD 96 Ranger which was on the other side of town... with the dinky stock-size tires. She said there was dirt on the tires. I asked her to show me. She just pointed in a vague area and started screaming *groan* She was threatening to write us $500 tickets for trespassing and we would have to appear in court. Thank God for scruffy veteran.
