It's on my list of stuff to do. First I will decide what color to paint the wheels first, then get new race tires for them.

They are soo much fun to autocross. Everyone there thinks it is the greatest thing to watch, with all of the body roll.

I bet. Mine was a 2004 and it was the only car I've ever had that was purchased new. I LOVED the shifter and clutch feel. It was effortless and precise.

Mine is also a 2004, I bought a solid mount short shift kit, people have told me it feels better than some civic gearboxes

I would imagine with a good short shift kit it would probably be nearly identical to a del sol (which is, to this day, the best gearbox I've ever encountered. just snick-snick-snick with almost no wrist movement).
