Its time to play guess that car. On my way home I saw an old Alfa Romeo. I'm trying to figure out what model it was. Unfortunately I didn;'t get a picture because by the time I saw it, it had passed. It was old more in line with the car below. It was a 2 seat hard top. It had a flat rear also like with the car below. and I think the front had a 3 piece grill similar to the bottom car. IT was rear and the rear panel was white. Any ideas? It was beautiful, 1st time seeing one like this.

Alfa TZ-1? If so, you're a lucky man

That's an Alfa Romeo Giulia TZ2 Zagato. Absolutely stunning car.

TZ. They're actually incredibly light (~1400lbs) and pretty damn fast for what they are. They're alumium space frame versions of the Guilia with completely new aluminum bodywork.
Although, since they are extraordinarily rare it's more likely you saw a re-bodied or kit Guilia made out to look like a TZ.

is this possible? It looks like a rare/expensive car but it was also Duxbury

That looks pretty damn close (I also knew u'd be responding to this)
is this possible? I saw it in a town called Duxbury which is nicknamed Deluxbury because it full of rich people.

thanks for thinking of me :)
Let's just say you cannot into one of these things without a pretty steep entry fee, so it would make sense. Even the later Zagato jr's are commanding big money these days

I'm leaning towards a TZ1 over the TZ2. I have no idea if it was original or kit but I will say that I've passed an Exige, a Bentley and a Ford GT on this same stretch of road so....

definately the wrong nose. would it be more believable that I saw a TZ1 if i told you i've seen a Ford GT on this same stretch of road.

Is the TG1 (and2) the only alfa's with the flat rear end?

they are, but the California dealership where I took these pics had two in the showroom! $1.3 mil each, not too unreasonable for Duxbury
Here's a link for the listings so you can see more pics

if $kay is reading this...sorry (ok disclaimer out of the way)
IMHO sure, but the GT is more of a new money, big power and burnouts toy, whereas the TZ is an old money, 1.6l 4cyl thing of beauty. Not to say peoples taste doesn't cross over, but it doesn't make it any more or less likely. I would much rather hear the song of that 1.6 screaming close to redline than the grunt of a GT any old day.

I was just saying the GT so you could get an idea for what rung of the ladder we're at. This is much more of a Land Rover town than Camry. The houses we design in town are probably around $5mil.

They're well into the $1,000,000 range now, but not quite Ferraro 250 prices yet, so given that, it probably was real. Awesome.
