Well, I was expecting the 360 version of Horizon 2 to be worse, and not have things like weather and Drivatars, but i was really hoping the map would be all there. Looks like that's not the case. The 360 version will only be twice the size of the old Horizon map rather than 3 times the size like the Xbone version.
This is a pretty big bummer to me.

Okay, what the fuck?!? That was the only reason I kept my 360... I might just sell it now ;(

You should of realized that was a possibility. It was either graphics or map size so they kept the graphics forza is known for.

Now I'm even more glad I pre-ordered it today for the Xbone.

Sure, i knew it was a possibility, but i'd hoped they'd be able to cram it all in there.
Ideally, M$ would just allow backwards compatibility for their racing wheels. Then i'd just buy an Xbone and Horizon 2 on that. But as it is...i'd still rather play a game with worse graphics and physics (to an extent) with a nice wheel than a superior game with a controller.
To my knowledge M$ is not offering a wheel as nice as the one i own for 360 on Xbox one.

Well the Xbox One is still really new so you just gotta give it a bit.

Unless the 360's map excludes some of the better roads, I'm not too disappointed. Twice the size of the original's map is still pretty massive. I'm more disappointed in the lack of weather and less cars. Two things I'd be willing to give up amazing graphics for.

Officially they said 3 times the driveable space of Horizon 1's map for the Xbone and 2 times the size of Horizon 1's map for the 360. Technically they aren't the same thing. They never confirmed that the 360 version will have a smaller map. I guess only time will tell.

Sounds like they are stepping around the shortfalls here. If you can 'drive through fields' but the overall area is twice the size, it may actually have less roads than Horizon 1.

Down the road there could be DLC support for a larger map or something....but M$ wants you to spend a billion dollars on the xBONE and buy the new game new controllers and all the other stuff that coems with console ownership.

Yeah. I'm disappointed, but i'll still get the game. As you said, twice the size is still pretty damn big.

Yup. Controller is the sticking point for me. Currently i have a wheel that isn't backwards compatible with Xbone.
