Kinja won't let me upload pictures?

Did I miss a change in how we're supposed to upload things; am I doing something wrong or is Kinja just hating on me right now? I've tried quite a few times to upload a simple picture (both via a URL and by uploading), and it just gets stuck on the scrolling uploading image. Just sits there doing nothing. I've tried downsizing the picture, making it a much smaller file size and even attempted to load other pictures. It won't work in Firefox or Safari. Help?

It often does this to me via direct link but I can usually get it to work by going into the 'formatting options' menu.

Shouldn't be any problem, I'm using FF on a Mac with no issues. You can also drag and drop, and sometimes hotlinking doesn't work. It sounds like you're uploading from your computer, though. Is the file name formatted correctly?

That almost worked! It stopped scrolling and looked like it was about to upload before it told me that the upload failed. Took a few tries but I figured out a way.

It used to not be a problem. I didn't know you could drag and drop, but that actually worked. I originally was trying to post without uploading by a link, but resorted to uploading it to see if that would fix it. Everything was formatted correctly.

Turned out I forgot I had no-script running and that was blocking Kinja's uploader. It still wouldn't let me post via upload but the drag and drop worked! Thank you for the help.

I have the same issue, mac or PC, Safari, chrome or FF, all the same error message “Image upload failed. Please try again.”

This hasn’t worked for a while...
