I am saddened that humans can do such amazing things with our technology and live on such an amazingly beautiful planet with the endless wonders of space to explore and as a species we are still so intent on carving out our petty fiefdoms and killing each other. Comparing the absolute pinnacle of what humans can achieve with the absolute nadir of what humans can achieve is truly disheartening.
