Oh yes, Oppo I have a question on a attempt to make my school less awful. What's a good homecoming theme? My ASB class is deciding tomorrow...and I think "occupations" and "seasons" are pretty bad ideas...
oh yes, I suggested the fast times at ridgemont high idea. They rejected it sadly.
Our principal doesn't want us to do the "Ridgemont High" idea, as I was informed.

We did a Bond theme that was pretty fun. Depends on what students will enjoy/staff will go for.

We were supposed to do a bond theme for my homecoming and then the senior party as we were the class of 007. But both got rejected. The homeocming theme ended up being "There's no place like Homecoming!" and it was, no joke, wizard of Oz themed......

Wolf of Wall Street themed.
Auto-X themed. Kids have to dance while avoiding randomly placed cones in the dancing area.
(Never went to high school dances)

What a shame. I was planning on burning a paper mache full size mascot of the opposing team with the mascot setting it on fire. Or just signs.

Here in the netherlands, student party themes aren't usually a single existing 'thing'. Just make it seem you were completely stoned while thinking of a theme/spoof the name of a television show and then let the crowd figure out their outfit. That way, everybody is flexible in choosing outfits.
It does depend on the crowd though if the crowd goes with it or just goes all 'meh'.
