Normally not a huge fan of IPA's. But this is pretty good.

Tell me more, tell me more, did you get ver.. uhm.. I mean.. how is it? 'murican IPA with tons of hops (I.E a PROPER IPA), or is it more of a boring generic U.K IPA (Yeah, I know.. the IPA came from the U.K sort of).. Any idea what hops they've used?

so I'm pretty foreign to beer, I'm a scotch/rum/tequila/vodka fan, in no particular order. But generally it's more convenient just to order beer sometimes and it's a pain in the ass getting anything mixed at a busy bar. Plus sometimes you don't want to order a scotch on the rocks and be dapper as fuck.
So if I like blue moon, shocktop, and boddingtons what are some others I should try out? I'm not a fan of ulter bitter hoppyness if that helps. Here's a pancake bunny for your troubles

I'm an IPA guy (a bitter beer for a bitter man) but I find the idea of a session IPA to be intriguing. IPAs normally have a pretty high ABV so one that's less than 5% is interesting.

I love Blue Moon, which is why I'm not a huge fan of IPA's normally. But both Blue Moon and Shocktop are Belgian style Wheat brews so any that fall into that category are the ones you would probably like.

Yeah, I'll be up kinda late tonight. Still at my office, getting some work done. Tomorrow is gonna suck, hard. Late afternoon appointments, and its been raining all day today. That means muddy roads and a filthy car.

Its a bit in the middle actually. Not over the top with the hops, but it still has a real distinctive flavor. And I'm not sure what they use. But Founders is considered one of the best Microbrews in the US, so there stuff is pretty good.

Bishops Finger (Shepherd neame) would probably be something you'd enjoy, it's a tad more bitter ad a tad less creamy than Boddingtons (I'm assuming you're talking about Boddingtons Pub Ale).
Perhaps you'd enjoy a proper pint of Newcie brown? Ol' speckled Hen, or perhaps a spitfire (once again, Shepherd neame).

looks good - We've also discovered the session IPAs/ISAs this summer - hoppy goodness, less alcohol (hence for drinking sessions...)

Does it have a citrusy flavour? Closer to oranges than grapefruit? with perhaps a slight hint of apricot and/or passion fruit? And some pine?

That... Is actually a fantastic way to describe it. I tried it and there were a lot of flavor going on and I wasn't really sure how to describe it, but yeah, that actually pretty spot on. At least from my perspective.

Split a 15 pack of this a few hours ago on a golf course.
It is very easy drinking for an IPA. You can pound it.

Then I'm guessing they've used the following hops; Amarillo (or cascade), Chinook and Simcoe (could be centennial).
I'd go on to say that they've probably used lightly toasted malts as well, so there should be some taste of toasted bread or something in it.
I'm not a beer geek in any way at all, nope.. not at all.

Haha. I normally dont get anything with an actual hop taste. Either Blue Moon, or standard shitty American beer to get drunk off of. The only other beer I've had with a hop taste was Bells Two Hearted Ale, which was insanely hoppy to me. I didnt like that one very much.

I've heard that's a solid brew, it's just too bad I can't get it out in CA.
