People wear watches? I stopped wearing a watch when I got this great little computer to carry around in my pocket. I get it out when I want to see the time.

Oh Tudor, nice choice. Liking the color combo.
I've had my eye on a knock off Submariner for a little while now...

Why do that when they invented this cool gadget hundreds of years ago that you can wear on your wrist and not have to reach into a pocket or dig it out of a bag to see the time.

I wear watches because they are mechanical marvels and because they are something pretty to look at.

Have you seen the Tudor Pelagos? For some reason I like them more than their Sub counterpart.

Thats not bad at all. I like the round marks over the square ones though. Not that I could afford either of them anyways...

How about an Alpha? They are all automatic and about $150.

Thanks for that.

Personally, I ruin pretty much anything attached to my body, so I prefer to have nothing attached. I destroyed a lot of watches (so I never bought a 'good' one) before I got a cellphone that had a nice time display on the outside of it.

I hear that. I love clocks. I have one on my wall built by a great-great-great-great grandparent. But anything on my wrist will get ruined.

I need some blue in my collection, I dont have a blue watch. How much is that and does it come with a leather band option?

I'm getting this one for around 3k, it is an old model but I don't mind. I don't think they came with a leather band but you can always get one from hodinkee.com

That is a lovely watch but I think the color limits its timelessness. I always go with black or white faces and avoid colors and extra large blingy faces. I want my watches to be wearable in 100 years by my kids kids when they are adults.
This 50 year old watch has never once not looked good or looked dated.
