Oh, HELL yes. Back when these were new, my dad and his boss went to the Oldsmobile dealer and leased two cars for the company.

Dad's was a 1983 Delta 88 Royale, silver on brown cloth, no vinyl roof. Bill's was a light blue on dark blue velour 1983 98 with the vinyl roof. They were stunning. I still remember the new car smell of the 88.

I support this decision.

That is definitely not a Camry. Gotta love the 80's Cadillac land barges.

So should we wait until you get arrested, or start the "Bail Out Rolland After He Dragons the Olds" fund now while we have time to prepare?

This era cracked me up. Coupes with doors the size of Connecticut.

My dad had a '74 Rocket Eighty Eight sedan. He dearly loved that thing, and went RX7 afterward so he could still feel like he was driving something cool.

His taste in cars is suspect.

Close but that's an Oldsmobile Ninety Eight. My grandfather had an '84 Regency Brougham, never knew there was a coupe. While I never much cared for that car, there is something nostalgic about seeing them.

Psh, you candy-asses. The post-1977 cars were small. 1976 and older is where it's at.

19 feet long, 8.5 feet wide. 65 tons of American pride.
