Can we talk about the complete lack of steering feel?

And why did Nissan feel the need to make their steering wheels a diagram of female anatomy?

I do like that you can completely turn off the dash lighting at night. That's a cool feature .

Aah, yes. I drove a rental Altima. It was gloriously terrible.

It looks like you got a good one. Most rental companies only give S trims.

Of the Big-Three-Japanese family sedans, this one slots between the Accord and Camry on the boring scale. It's not bad, per se, but not great. I drive about 2-3 2.5 S and 2.5SV models every week and they're all just kind of "meh." I'd rather have the Accord. At least it comes with a stickshift and has a little bit of steering feel.

Isn't a problem on pretty much every new car. I mean more and more cars are going to either electronic assisted steering, or complete drive by wire steering, which basically means the feed back will never be much better than a quality racing sim steering wheel.

I've driven countless (ok...a few doezen?) 2.5 S, SV, and SLs. I don't like them. I've driven one 3.5 SL. I thought I'd like it, and I didn't. I blame the CVT.

I used to have an Altima, pre-electric steering. Was still really vague. Had to make a lot of little corrections on the highway. Good engine though! (3.5)
