There's a job posting out for part time driving instructors in MD, and I think as many DC Jalops should apply as possible. Who would be better at teaching driving then people who love to drive?

If you're at least 21 years of age and in good health, have at least a high school diploma or GED, and no suspensions or revocations on your driving record for at least the last three years, we invite you to get in touch with us. Hours are flexible, but you should be willing to work days, evenings and weekends in the summer, and evenings and weekends during the school year.

What are the chances of being fired if I teach them how to properly do a handbrake turn?

I thought about starting a driver's education school where I can make learning manual a requirement. I'd also get into basic car maintenance and how to buy a car. All I remember from my drivers ed classes were those god awful, outdated VHS tapes from the 80's about drunk driving. (I got my license in the early 00's) Unfortunately I don't think I'd make much money and I'd have to spend a lot of time in a car as a passenger...

we should just start our own at that point. Jalop driving skool, with a autocross and gymkhana day included.

Also must do everything in three different types of cars. One possibly a FWD hot hatch, RWD roaster of some sort and a RWD boat of a vehicle. Maybe an Aero Crown vic or 70s Cadillac.

Shit I think I would take this class....

I was surprised that for as aggressive as DC drivers are, they tend to give way when needed, let you into tight spots if you make the move quickly enough, don't road rage, etc.

I chalked it up to "if you're just as aggro as everyone else, they can't be mad at you."

That's what you need to teach them. Drive hard.
