In a huge turn of events, recently appointed President of Cadillac Johan de Nysschen, has resigned from his position stating that GM CEO Mary Barra is "watering down the brand" and is upset with new sales goal of "30.3 bajillion units anually."
We're going to lose our exclusivity. I don't care what Lincoln is doing. Cadillac is now a German car company.

Personally I agree with Montezemolo in the regard that if Ferrari is going to try and keep their old image and business model that the new direction is bad for the brand.
you mess with the sweater and you're going to get snagged
If Ferrari is trying to change their image and embrace the modern world though and actually treat their customers like they need them then Marchionne is taking steps in the right direction.

I think Ferrari has a long way to become "american". I see them as becoming more global.
