I bought Need For Speed Rivals.

Positives:

Great music selection - most of the music was on blogs beforehand. All great DJs and remixes. !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!!
Great cars
Beyond stunning graphics and physics.
'Live-time' playing - no pausing tho.
Destruction
Control an assortment of realistic gadgets.
Extremely well designed map. Need more urban sprawl.

Vague/open plot.

Negatives:

No Low-end cars to start with.
No Caprice/Caprice PPV, no Taurus, No Vic P71 (NFS Classics!)
No controller support
Animated drivers but no getting out the car and arresting. Not even a quick animation.
NPC cars do not pull over when you're cruising along with lights and siren. GET OUT OF MY WAY!
Burnout function can use some fine-tuning.
Undercovers should be able to join a race and then - SURPRISE MOTHA-
No manual control

Vague/open plot.

Yeah it would be much easier with a logitech wheel. See they need some sort of thing like NFS world where basically it expands your car library based on the games you own and you play on a constanly updated Frostbite or even Crytec cloud-server engine (with offline play) so like Shift 2 (,where you can participate in professional events) with an option to join an online motor police department or illegal racing gang (and the plots those entail.)

It definitely needs something more expansive to interest me again. I've been in and out of NFS since Underground and Rivals was the most disappointing one for me. It felt like a step back from the pretty fun handling of Most Wanted and didn't really add any new features other than nice graphics and cop career which previous games have had.
