I haven't had any issues with the build quality of my Galaxy S3 and I've had it for 2 years. I never had issues with "lack of apps" on Android and malware problems. Then again, I'm not an idiot.

Im faaar from a phone enthusiast, is that what they call themselves? I do love and appreciate all forms of technology. But Im not brand loyal to them. But I will say, android phones work better for me. SD card slot, removable battery, larger screen that doesnt break as often, and to me the iphones gui seems cartoony. Just my opinions.

I just got rid of my GS3 after 2 years and started to have trouble with it at the end of that 2 years. Also dropped it many times with out incident except that one curb that got in the way. Moved to the GS5 and I love it. Works perfectly

I appreciate iPhones for their durability, attractive design (even if it is the same year after year), and most of all their quality.

Android can be pretty hit or miss, since there are so many manufacturers. iPhones will generally last forever if treated properly.

Remember: Competition is good for the consumer.

I was going to wait until the Note4 but i was having signal issues with my phone to the point where it was just decimating my battery. I also did that Verizon Edge thing so I could potentially upgrade when the GS6 comes out if I choose to. But if you need to upgrade beforehand I def recommend the GS5. Know a few iPhone users who switched due to the better battery life and wanting more features

Durability depends on which model of Iphone. My friends 3gs is impressively long lasting but one drop was all it took to shatter the front and back of the 4/4s.

I mean, I use a blackberry, so its pretty obvious that I am not a phone die-hard kill to succeed aficionado. I enjoy it, and aren't acting like a prick. Thing is, in Mexico, no iphone can be bought with unlimited internet, so I didn't want to loose that privilege and get whipped by my phone company. I stuck with Blackberry, enjoy unlimited internet everywhere, and enjoy when new apps can be downloaded.

I feel i must issue a short statement before I go on.

I use a BlackBerry. Yes, I am the one.

When I have someone ask me about which to get, I evaluate the person asking. Are they tech savy? Rich? Young? Intelligent? Famous as fuck? Female?

It breaks down to, can you figure minor shit out, do you want to, is it business related or personal?

Personal , image concious, and possibly still can't set the time on the VCR? iPhone. Its a smartphone for those that aren't or don't care to be.

Personal, like tech and messing with things? Set the time on the VCR AND the Darth Vader Toaster (you suave, parent's basement dwelling motherfucker)? Android based pour vous.

Work? BlackBerry. You can side load Android for the good stuff.

I don't play favourites. I love busting the hipster humps over iPotatos though. If mine was personal, it would be Android something.

My HTC One would like to argue that its naked aluminum case is much sexier than Apple products. Also, just about every iPhone user I know has had a shattered screen at some point, while I know of far fewer Android users with this issue.

Nice. They finally catching up, to 2012. In my opinion iphone 5 was a super stupid move. What a stupid screen. I went for the GS4 and i couldn't be more happy for what i did. And with an external memory i can record videos all day i wont fill my phone. I hated having 16GB.on my iphone 4. But i was too poor to get the 32GB
