Apparently is made by a French company, in China.
Funny thing is that it says "Use with foodstuffs" on it, like "don't use this knife to kill people".
Boy, the French are really something.

Did it come with any sort of white flag? Possibly in the handle for easy access and quick surrender?
#shotsfired.

I have a set of steak knives from them, not bad. But you can't beat Mora for the price, not even if you go Chinese made.

Shouldn't be plox instead of please? Lol. Anyways.
Not much, just your typical chef knife, I don't cook too often, but when I do, I don't want my mood to be ruined by a blunt knife. That brand also makes heat resistant, glass trays, for oven/fridge use, they're quite good.
Sorry for the poor light, I'm still at work and the lightning unit above my desk isn't working, and naturally the assholes from maintenance are not coming to fix it.

I believe it's a drop-point? I'm still learning knives. My wife is the knife guru. I know the first thing she would do is to see if it is stainless steel, and the grade of the metal.
She made it a rule that I can't leave the house without a knife. Seriously. I'll get a lecture if I forget it, lol.

Well, it is stainless steel, and it has all kinds of numbers on it, so a grade must be there somewhere, it isn't a $2 Chinese Chinese , tin knife. As for the type, it only says cook/chef knife on it, even if it looks like a santoku knife, it isn't made for dicing and mincing, but rather for everything you need, lol.
Also, why would you need a knife when you're leaving home? You're need living in the woods, are you? Or in Detroit?

Drop point is the blade style, and it's fixed.
I carry them just in-case, for cutting something or anything else (not to be a pry bar, my Gpa snap his blade for doing that, earned a tongue lashing from my wife, lol). And we do live on a campgrounds, in the middle of farm country, :). Plus, my wife likes me carrying a knife. She thinks it's 'sexy', lol.
Theses are some of my knives. A buck vantage (drop point blade), a rough rider swing-guard (clip point blade), and a case russlock (modified clip point). I try to switch which I carry every so often.
