Didn't the XR-7's have dual exhaust? Maybe it fell off, I didn't look underneath.
I love the front of this thing.
Those seats have seen some better days, but otherwise the interior was in pretty good shape.
But I do love the logo in the seat back.
Even has them on the back seats.

XR7 was available with different engines/performance options. It was really just an upscale trim line not necessarily a performance line.

I think they took out the base level engine, but they tend to do that on higher trims anyhow.
Are you actually buying or in the market? Ask any questions you like, I'm the resident Muscle Mercury guy.

The Cougar you showed above is a 71-73 car from the quick look I got in these pics. It most likely has a 351W in it.
Would haul ass with a couple minor adjustments.
