Currently lying on the hood of my car in the middle of one of my university's garages. Somebody saw some strange sketchy brown kid pushing his car out of the garage (seeking to get it to a gas station or at least to entrance) and called campus cops. Now instead of spending the next two hours studying for my class in the morning in the coffeeshop 100 feet away, I must "wait for my assistance to arrive and stay with my vehicle for security reasons." Graaaaaaaah white people. Graaaaaaaah SUVS. GRAAAAAAAAH GAAAAAS. FFFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUU school.

My laptops dead so I can't read my 200 year old book.

I try so hard. Apparently my military Rothico hat with american flag patch and Nike sneakers isn't un-conspicuous. Or maybe it was me pushing a 50k+ SUV through a garage at midnight. I'll never know.

Man, I'm not sure where you go to school but from the other comments I can guess in the Detroit area. It's a shame that's still a reaction you get around here. Though it is a tad strange to see a dude (of any color) push, as you put it, a 50k+ SUV around midnight....

actually in Northern Virginia/DC area. A lot of rich kids pushing around that kid of crap, but you need to be Arab/Persian, have diplomatic playtes and wearing Gucci sweatpants to pull off being brown. Even the yuppy white people who live here who are oh so liberal are still in denial about their own racism. I grew up poor and now I'm not, A lot has changed since I was 10 and now I'm 21. I'm still sharing this 50k SUV with four drivers. Apparently you can't drive a niceish car and not be white. Otherwise "something is up." Even in DC.

Why not just buy 4 cars for 15k each and have 5k left over for maintenance? (me and my logic, I know lol)

And it's shame. And a lot of people don't realize a lot of those "southern" mentalities leak into VA quite a bit from what I've seen.
